Dear Kay & Staff
Thank you for all the love, care and attention given to my wife Edith, during her stay at Brooklands. Thank you for letting me be one of the Brooklands Family during my visits. The mug of coffee was most appreciated. All the best wished for the future
Dear Kay and all the staff,
Just wanted to thank you all very much for the care given to Mum during her year's stay at Brooklands. Also a very big thank you for all the great kindness extended to Dad during his daily visits.
I was particularly grateful for the professionalism shown by yourself Kay, Ancy and Jyothi and all of the staff in helping to ease Mum through her final days.
It was lovely to see you Kay at yesterday’s service and have attached the reading: To be a nurse.
We have had more than a year associated with Brooklands when they have been caring for a very elderly father and father in law. It is very difficult to find any fault at all during this time. Led by a very competent and caring manager there is a most friendly cooperative and helpful atmosphere overlaced with an unfailing sense of happiness and contentment in what could be the opposite as experienced elsewhere. The ultimate test is whether we ourselves would wish to spend time there should the need ever arise in the very distant future and the resounding answer must be yes.
My 93 year old mother has had a series of strokes and is unable to do anything for herself. The care she is currently receiving is extraordinary and should be used as an example for every nursing home in the country. The feeling in the home is one of peace and kindness due to the excellent Manager and the lovely team. The house itself feels like a private home and the garden is beautifully kept. I could go on eulogising for ever but I think this wonderful place can be summed up in one word - INSPIRATIONAL.
